About John
I'm an art major Chinese native speaker. I teach drawing and Chinese and sometimes combine them together to make the difficult parts more fun and easy to understand. Learning Chinese can be tough, but I make it stress-free and enjoyable. Mistakes are welcome—they’re part of the process! Whether you’re learning for travel, work, exams (HSK), or just for fun, I adapt lessons to fit your goals and pace.

For most students, I will customize learning, which adjusts speed and content based on student’s goals. If students have a hard time understanding some knowledge, I give a simple story based on that knowledge to help students' understanding. My lessons have a flexible style. I can change lessons based on what the student needs, or just do a Q&A session, which would also be good to help the student understand the use of Chinese. If you have a test to prepare for, I can help with school exams or work Chinese.
