About Ziyun
I'm a native Chinese speaker. I write poems, short stories, novellas, and scripts in Chinese. A short film featuring my script won awards in Beijing. I'm also the president of a Chinese Hanzi& Literature Club in Beijing. I designed the test questions for the Chinese dictation competition for 3 years now.
I have proficiency in English (my SAT score is 1560), so I'm able to communicate with English-speaking students very well in class.

Hello! I'm Ziyun
I could teach Chinese learners with all level of proficiency, from complete beginners to advanced students.
Personally, I am born and raised in China so I'm a native speaker. I'm a sophisticated writer in Chinese literature with great knowledge of traditional culture in East Asia. So, if you want to learn more than just basic language, I'm sure I have a lot to offer.
Also, I am fluent in English as well. In fact, I do creative writing in English as well. So there's no need to worry about communication issues.
I design the syllabus according to the need and level of the student (whether it's preparing for an exam, out of interest, or for travel). I would prefer teaching the way like Chinese Primary schools do, with Pinyin, to ensure the best learning result especially for beginners. Each class would include reading materials excerpted from Chinese text books, newspapers/ medias, or literature works that match with the student's proficiency. I will share a small piece of cultural fact/ traditional poetry/proverb/... at the end of each session.
