In our lessons, we’ll focus on speaking, reading, listening, and writing, all tailored to your goals. Whether you want to improve your English for everyday conversations, work, or even to surprise someone special, I’m here to help! During our first session, we’ll chat about what you want to learn and identify areas for improvement. I practice a learner-focused approach, which means we'll have a lot of engagement and the materials I use will be to support your learning, rather than the whole focus of your learning. In New Zealand we have an approach in teaching and learning called "Ako" this is reciprocal-based learning — we believe it's all about learning together.

I highly recommend Kat as an English teacher! She has been incredibly helpful in my learning journey, always taking the time to correct my mistakes and explain the exact meaning of words I didn’t know. She was patient in helping me pronounce words correctly and guided me through my sentences when they weren’t structured properly, ensuring I truly understood the right way to say them. Her patience and dedication to her students make learning with her both effective and enjoyable.
Thank you, Kat, for your support and encouragement!View more recommendations
