About Jade
I am currently an undergraduate student at Roehampton University, studying Psychology with Criminology. I have been studying Psychology since secondary school (GCSE) and have had a strong desire to become a part of the Psychology industry ever since, in whatever form that may be. During secondary school, I became a peer mentor to younger students, which involved teaching them new skills and helping them with homework. As I am in my final year at university, I would like to use my spare time, away from studies, to put my knowledge to good use. I also have a great passion for helping others and I hope that my knowledge of Psycholog and English will help other young minds who need that extra bit of guidance. During my spare time, I am interested in reading, music and art. Away from a Psychology-based career, I would like to take up the art of tattooing. My style of teaching is very student-led, as I believe the students should have a say in how they are taught and what manner of teaching works best for them.

My lessons are very much student-centred and flexible in terms of teaching style. I establish what the student needs help with, with the help of formative assessments, and then proceed to go ahead with lessons based on areas of improvement (feedback from the assessment). I will assist the students on each topic but allow them to take hold of their own learning.
