About Flora

Bonjour! Привет! ¡Hola! I'm Flora, a language enthusiast and current third-year student at the University of Manchester, pursuing a degree in French and Russian. My passion for languages ignited my desire to share this love with others, leading me to embark on my tutoring journey three years ago. Having successfully navigated the challenges of learning French, Russian, and Spanish myself, I've developed effective strategies to help my students overcome linguistic hurdles. As a friendly and sociable individual, I find immense joy in cultural exchange and engaging in meaningful conversations, all while fostering English language proficiency. Let's embark on a linguistic adventure together and unlock the world of languages!

About the lesson

I am an experienced and passionate ESL tutor with 3 years of experience committed to helping students of all ages and levels achieve their English language goals. My teaching approach centres on creating a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel confident expressing themselves in English. I am fluent in French and have a B1 level in Spanish and Russian, however, I try and speak mainly in English throughout my sessions to improve your proficiency in the English language! My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs and learning styles, ensuring they receive personalised attention. I use a variety of fun and engaging activities to keep students motivated and immersed in the language. - Day-to-day conversation skills - Interactive and engaging activities - Personalised feedback and support - Focus on practical communication skills - Cultural immersion and understanding Whether you're a beginner or an advanced learner, I am here to guide you on your journey to English proficiency. With my expertise, dedication, and passion for teaching, we can achieve your English language goals together in a friendly environment. I look forward to meeting you! :)
