About Arnu
I am half English, half Maltese. I have a love for world culture and travel. I love helping and motivating people to achieve their goals, which is why teaching is a great profession for me. I taught myself Spanish, so I know what it takes to learn a new language and how to provide the skills for independent learning. My goal is to provide every student with an effective and enjoyable learning experience.

During class, I use the communicative approach, which encourages students to speak as much as possible on a specified topic. I also focus on confidence building through lesson enjoyment and ensuring the material is built around the individual's needs. For homework, I use my platform, avatarenglish, that contains hundreds of engaging videos, activities, and short stories to ensure practice continues outside of the classroom. I match this with delivering assistance and prompts to use with AI for practice outside the class. This combination ensures steady and constant development.
Lessons normally last one hour. I have taught English on every continent and I speak Spanish fluently. I teach all ages from 10+. I have experience teaching all levels and ages and exam preparation. I have taught in IB schools, language schools, and private classes. I also teach literature and creative writing skills.
