About Talia
Hello! I’m an 18-year-old native English speaker from England, enriched by a childhood spent in South America and Spain, where I became bilingual in English and Spanish. This unique background has given me a deep appreciation for language learning and the joy of connecting across cultures. I’m super friendly, outgoing, and passionate about helping others, bringing warmth and enthusiasm to every lesson. My academic journey includes achieving Grade 9s in English Literature and Language at GCSE and completing A-level English Literature, which deepened my love for the language. I’m thrilled to have secured a place at Oxford University to study English Literature and Language, where I’ll continue to explore the power of words. I’ve also volunteered as an English tutor in local schools in Eswatini and Vietnam, sparking my passion for teaching through engaging, natural conversations. With strong listening skills, I easily connect with students from Spanish-speaking or any background, creating a fun and supportive space to grow your English skills.

With my cultural background and language skills, I especially enjoy connecting with Spanish-speaking students, but I’m just as excited to work with learners from any country.
