It was during Covid that I decided to bite the bullet and recommence French after many years of absence.

I remember when my daughter was younger and she wasnt super interested in practising/learning french, but Sandrine clicked and saw that and thought up interesting ways to engage her and keep her speaking.

Sandrine has the patience and grit of a mother - gently and consistently moving the student forward from wherever they are. For example she can see that sometimes the student is feeling 'blah' that day and so she meets them at that point and will get them to talk about whatever is happening etc - and the result is that they still learn. She is gentle and consistent and it is that accumulated trust and consistency that leads to big gains in learning.

Sandrine is completely reliable, engaged and interested in the student's learning. She listens to the things the student is interested in and then engages them on that topic. She also does lots of preplanning to ensure the most from whatever the student might be studying in school for example.

She is just really really lovely and just a 5 star teacher.

Sandrine is easy going and helpful and caters the lessons to my needs. Sometimes it's just conversation practice and other times more intensive grammar. She can help you in any way you need.
