About Isabela
Prior to moving to Canada in 2017, I had been living in France (Paris and Ferney-Voltaire) where I studied in a French public school. When moving to Canada, I entered the French Immersion system prior to enrolling in the IB Diploma where I took French (SL). I have been volunteering as a tutor since Grade 11 and have been working as one for the past year. I offer my tutoring services in Science, French, and Maths though most of my students are for French. I enjoy sharing my language and look forward to helping you develop your language skills :)

I divide my French lessons into three parts:
1) Reading comprehension
2) Dictées and grammar lessons
3) Conversation
The emphasis placed on each part depends on my students' needs. Certain students prefer to spend 30mins studying parts (1) and (2) and the second half speaking, and others prefer to spend the hour studying grammar and acquiring vocabulary.
I currently teach at beginner and intermediate levels. I have tutored grade 11 IB French students, Grade 6 Immersion French, Intermediate French to a second-year University Student, and C-level exam prep to a working professional.
