About Clara
My name is Clara—my father is French, my mother Australian, and I grew up in France before moving to the UK for university 15 years ago. I’ve mostly lived in London but have been working in Bristol since 2022. I love learning and teaching languages—I’m currently learning three myself! I’ve enjoyed tutoring ever since I spent two hours helping a friend master her French ‘R’ at uni and saw how rewarding it is to help someone gain confidence in a new language.

Coucou! I'm a native French speaker who completed my schooling in France and have been living in the UK for 15 years. Whether you're a total beginner or looking to refine your fluency, I offer personalised lessons to suit your goals. I use a mix of structured textbook learning (my favourites are Assimil and Cortina, but we can work to your preferred method) and practical conversation to build confidence and real-world language skills. Lessons for adults are one hour, while children's sessions are 40 minutes—flexible and designed to fit individual learning styles. All ages and levels welcome!
