About Anthony
First, my studies are mainly focused in linguistics. Since I was 11 years old, I started studying Russian, and then I continued with Latin and English. At 15, my former Russian teacher recommended me to teach Russian to students with difficulties, which I continued during all the period of my studies.
In college, I continued to study Russian and English. I did a master in Russian and international business and went to study / work for more than 2 years in Russia (where I did another master in international relations). Living there, I taught French to Russian students in order to pay my university.
It is important to underline that, studying other languages, I have had to study mine (French) each time because in linguistics you're supposed to be able to translate the language you learn in a proper French. Therefore, I have a good knowledge of etymology, as well as a very analytical spirit about my language that allows me to compare it with other languages and to give clear explanations to my students.

The basis of my methodology begins by knowing my students to identify their level and interests in the language. This way I can adapt the classes according to them and make the student want to ask and learn more and more effectively, putting the knowledge acquired into practice (songs, poetry, movies, books ...). The goal is to learn while opening in other areas of interest.
On the other hand, I know that the most important to learn a language is the students confidence in their ability to speak. Once they are enough self confident, students can go to learn on their own, talking with people from France, and make progress in a more relaxed environment. Therefore, oral comprehension and oral expression are for me the keys that will allow the student to continue learning without his teacher, and that is why I try to make the student speak as much as possible.
Thus, I can help you in all aspects of the language: improving your accent studying phonetics, speaking and writing with good grammar, enriching your vocabulary in order to give you the tools to express yourself freely.
In addition, 15 years of teaching experience have allowed me to hone my teaching skills and be comfortable with students of all ages, including children.
