About Bénédicte
Born and raised in France, I obtained my French "baccalauréat" in La Source, France. I later obtained my BA of Arts (in French and Spanish) from SMU, Texas, and my Teaching Certification from Texas A&M Commerce. I have taught French at Dallas International School (IB track), and at Trinity Christian Academy (AP). While teaching, I tutored both my own students, and other students. When Covid-19 started, and my campus had to close, I conveyed content to my students remotely. I like to help in general. It is exciting to me when someone needs/has the desire to learn about the French language and culture, and I can fill that need. There is nothing more rewarding to me than witnessing those "Aha" moments from a student, and seeing him/her succeed, and become confident. I In March, because of Covid-19, I also remotely finished tutoring a dyslexic client of 2 years, who had ADHD. I was so proud of her for obtaining a A+ on her trimester exam, when French was never an easy subject for her. Current teaching certificate in the state of Texas. 13 years experience in teaching and tutoring. Whether you are a child or an adult (or anything in between), whether you need help on a specific topic, on vocabulary, on structure, on pronunciation, on culture, with conversation, or preparing for a test, I would be happy to schedule some sessions with you and see you grow!

Bénédicte has been tutoring my 7 year old daughter in French since January of this year. All I can say is I'm so happy we found her. With her guidance, my daughter definitely feels a lot more confident with her French reading and comprehension. Bénédicte is patient and provides for ample opportunity for my daughter to speak. Her lessons are interactive which I think helps with retention of material. I would definitely recommend Bénédicte to anyone looking for help in French.

I can tutor in person in a public library (Garland, Mesquite, Rockwall or East Dallas) for a charge of $5.00 extra. Cancellation policy: 24 hrs before lesson: no charge. $45.00 after that. Pods: - 2 students: $35.00 each/hour. - 3-5 students: $25.00 each/hour.
