About Geraldine
I’m a qualified French teacher, originally from the sunny south of France and living in the UK for the past 11 years. I’m passionate about my job and deeply in love with my language — and I believe that whatever your reason for learning French, you should enjoy the process.
I’ve taught learners of all ages and backgrounds, and I bring warmth, patience, and real enthusiasm to every lesson. Outside teaching, I’m a big lover of books, sport, and long lunches in the sunshine — very French at heart.

Bonjour
I’m a native French tutor with 10 years of experience teaching students of all ages and levels — from complete beginners to advanced speakers. I work with a wide range of UK clients — including major companies such as Safran and Orange, as well as professionals, school pupils, and adult learners — helping them build confidence and develop real, practical communication skills in French. I offer both individual lessons and group sessions (up to 12 participants), tailored to the needs and goals of each learner.
My approach is friendly, patient, and structured.
I focus on:
-building confidence
-making French feel natural and enjoyable
-using real-life materials (articles, videos, dialogues)
-creating a safe space where mistakes are part of learning
Whether you want to improve for work, pass an exam, prepare for travel, or simply enjoy learning a new language, I adapt each lesson to your needs.
