About Nuria
my Name is Nuria, I’m Native from a town in Madrid, Spain.
I studied biology and decided to go the teaching route when during my internship in the UK I found out lab work wasn’t made for me (too boring). I worked as atutor in Spain for 4 years. My subjects of expertise were biology, chemistry and English. Once I moved to the US, I realized the importance of knowing a second language, and decided to switch once again to become a Spanish teacher.
I love teaching and giving my students my knowledge.

I have been teaching for the past 8 years. Before moving to the US, I taught English, biology and chemistry in Spain. I worked with kids of all ages (6-18).
I moved to the US in 2019 after a 4 year relationship with my now husband, we got married andI continued my teaching career imparting Spanish. I realized the importance of knowing a second language and I want to expand that to the rural area I live in.
My lesson plan will vary depending on YOUR GOAL. I have experience in all areas so we can focus on whatever you want or everything as a whole. I think creating a foundation is essential and necessary but conversation and immersion will give you a lot more than studying and having to do homework.
