About Caroline
I am a native German and English speaker, and have learnt German grammar in detail in Berlin, and taken Advanced Placement exams.
I care about my students building lifelong language skills. That means I value my students understanding why something works the way it does, so that they can replicate it when I'm not there, and so that they can build their confidence in another language. I am focused on results, and get there through honest feedback, patience and kindness.
I also can provide fun and engaging lessons for bilingual children growing up in the UK, whose level of German needs to be practised or solidified. Having grown up with 3 languages in my household, I particularly empathise with parents wanting their children to have regular exposure and practice.
