About Anna
I have started to teach German classes at Bangor University in 2014 to classes of about 20 students, following a learning book complemented by my own learning materials. I believe in an engaging and interactive style of teaching that involves the students at every step and emphasizes active language use. At the same time, I taught one-on-one German lessons tailored to my respective students and their needs and wishes. These were more intensive and fast-paced since I could focus on a single student.

I am a recent Ph.D. graduate in history and have tutored history and taught German at Bangor University for the last four years. I taught German both in a classroom setting and one-on-one to complete beginners and advanced learners. I tailor my lessons to your needs. For absolute beginners, I prefer to follow a set plan and use German teaching books, but for advanced learners, I plan each session according to the needs of the tutee.
