About Archana
I am a native Hindi speaker and a dedicated Hindi tutor who enjoys helping students from different backgrounds discover the language in a simple, practical, and enjoyable way.
I understand that learning Hindi can feel challenging, especially when you are unfamiliar with the script, pronunciation, sentence structure, or gender system. That is why I make my lessons patient, easy to understand, and adapted to each student's level. I believe that making mistakes is a natural and important part of learning, so I always encourage my students to speak without being afraid of getting something wrong.
My lessons are designed around your individual goals. Whether you are starting Hindi from zero, want to improve your conversational skills, need help with grammar and pronunciation, or simply want to feel more comfortable communicating with Hindi speakers, I will help you build your skills step by step.
I also enjoy teaching students from different age groups and cultural backgrounds. I make an effort to understand what each student needs and adjust my teaching style accordingly rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
As your tutor, you can expect a friendly, respectful, and comfortable learning environment, along with well-structured lessons and plenty of opportunities to practice what you learn.

My teaching approach is practical, friendly, and completely personalized to each student. I believe Hindi becomes much easier when you actually use it instead of only memorizing grammar rules and vocabulary.
I focus mainly on conversational Hindi, helping students develop the confidence to understand and speak Hindi in real-life situations. My lessons can include everyday conversations, useful vocabulary, pronunciation practice, grammar, listening exercises, roleplays, and translation activities. I also use Romanized Hindi when needed, especially for students who cannot read Devanagari yet.
A typical class begins with a short conversation or revision of what we learned previously. We then introduce new vocabulary, grammar, or a practical topic and use it through examples and speaking exercises. The second half of the lesson is usually focused on practice through conversations, roleplays, questions, stories, or real-life situations. I adapt the pace and activities depending on the student's level, goals, and learning style.
One of my special features as a teacher is that I don't follow the exact same lesson for every student. Whether you want to learn Hindi for travel, communicate with Indian friends or family, understand Bollywood and Indian culture, or simply become more confident speaking Hindi, I can customize the lessons around your goals.
My classes are suitable for complete beginners as well as intermediate and advanced learners. I teach adults, teenagers, and children, and I am happy to work with students who want to focus specifically on speaking, pronunciation, grammar, listening, or everyday communication.
My goal is to create a comfortable environment where you can make mistakes, ask questions, and gradually start thinking and speaking in Hindi with confidence.
