About Carmen
I'm a pharmaceutical chemist, with a master degree. I'm from Italy but I recently moved to the USA. In the last 10 years I have been a tutor for students between 12 and 25 years old in subjects like physics, chemistry, maths, english, latin. Now that I live here, it would be great teaching my native language! My "business" it's always been based on the word of mouth and, consequently on the satisfaction of my "clients". I truly believe that teaching is not just "giving": instead, it means enriching the student and also the teacher!

My teaching method is based on the kid I'm working with. After the first lessons I'm able to get a pretty good idea of the kind of approach he or she needs. In general, I believe in guiding my students, helping them to develop the tools they need to learn the concepts and the informations, so that these are actually acquired and not just memorized.
