Rise is a good teacher who is easy to talk to and helpful

I’m taking a Japanese Course from Rise Teacher. I can definitely say that she is so nice, patient, passionate and a friendly teacher. She always supports me during class and motivates me with her materials. I am still at the beginning level in Japanese but I feel so close to that language thanks to her!

I tried many approaches when learning Japanese, but the vast differences between English made it a frustrating experience. Beyond that, the top recommended text books can be quite dry and unfulfilling.

Rise’s methodological approach is different in that I really felt it was uniquely tailored to my needs. My grammar, speaking, and reading skills were constantly taken into account such that we could spend more time on concepts I struggled with and bypass those I quickly grasped. Additionally, when Rise sensed a lack of engagement with the standard material, she integrated real world topics that are of great interest to me.

While working with Rise, my progress has been much faster than learning from Genki and Japanese For Busy People! Thanks!
