About Sumire
Hello! My name is Sumire, and I am a native Japanese speaker from Japan.
I am a registered nurse and have been living in New Zealand for the past three years. Living abroad has given me the opportunity to meet people from many different countries and cultures, and it has also helped me understand the challenges of learning a new language.
I decided to teach Japanese because I enjoy connecting with people and helping others achieve their goals. As someone who is also studying English, I understand that learning a language can sometimes feel difficult or overwhelming. I want to create a comfortable and supportive environment where students can learn with confidence and enjoy the process.
Whether you are learning Japanese for travel, work, study, or personal interest, I would be happy to support you on your language-learning journey.

Hello! My name is Sumire, and I am a native Japanese speaker from Japan.
I have been living in New Zealand for the past three years and understand the challenges of learning a new language and adapting to a different culture. I am also a registered nurse, so I can help students who are interested in medical Japanese or working in healthcare settings in Japan.
