About YEWON
I am a native Korean speaker living in Exeter. Before moving to the UK, I worked as a manager for an IT company in Korea.
Since moving here, I have helped my children maintain their Korean through conversation, reading and writing. I would now love to share the books and learning methods we use at home with others in the UK.
My aim is to help students learn practical, natural Korean in a friendly and relaxed environment.

• Teaching method: Lessons begin with a topic you want to discuss. We use conversation, short diary entries and guided writing to learn useful vocabulary, pronunciation and natural Korean expressions. Short Korean books can also be used for reading and retelling practice.
• Lesson length: Lessons are available for 30, 45 or 60 minutes, depending on your goals, level and schedule. A 30-minute lesson is ideal for beginners who want regular speaking practice.
• Experience: I am a native Korean speaker, a former IT company manager in Korea and a parent who teaches Korean to my children at home.
• Who lessons are for: Adult beginners, heritage learners, families, travellers and professionals seeking everyday or business Korean.
