About Jaewon
I’m a current college student.
I was born and raised in Korea until I was 14. I am well aware of all the Korean cultures in addition to the language. As an immigrant, I have the experience of learning a new language, which was English, so I understand how to approach a student when learning Korean for the first time or with some prior knowledge.

I prioritize letting the students enjoy learning Korean. I ask what students like and use that topic to teach the language. For example, if a student likes K-pop, I can translate the lyrics in English so he/she could learn the Korean words in the lyrics.
I primarily focus on vocabulary and speaking because I believe learning a language should be all about being able to speak it. However, I’m able to meet each student’s needs.
