My approach as a Korean tutor is student-centred, practical, and engaging. As a native Korean speaker, I focus on helping students build real confidence in using the language in everyday situations, not just memorizing grammar.
Teaching methodology and techniques:
I combine structured learning (grammar, vocabulary, sentence patterns) with interactive practice such as conversation, role-playing, and listening exercises. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s goals—whether that’s casual conversation, travel, academic study, or exam preparation. I also incorporate Korean culture, media, and real-life examples to make lessons more engaging and relevant.
Typical lesson plan:
A typical lesson includes a short review of previous material, introduction of new vocabulary or grammar, guided practice (speaking and writing), and a conversational activity to apply what we learned. I also provide feedback and small take-home exercises to reinforce learning.
What sets me apart:
As a native speaker, I can teach natural expressions, pronunciation, and cultural context that go beyond what textbooks cover. I create a supportive and comfortable environment where students feel confident speaking and making mistakes. My lessons are always personalized, organized, and focused on real progress.
Who the lessons are for:
My lessons are suitable for beginners to intermediate learners, including students, professionals, or anyone interested in Korean language and culture. Whether you are learning for travel, personal interest, or academic purposes, I tailor each lesson to your needs and pace.
