Avid outdoorsman, long-distance hiker, woodworker and singer, I deeply enjoy communication, travel, and language. Studied Spanish and music at the U of O in Eugene. Have lived here for 7 years and have been tutoring for 9 years in the subjects of Mathematics and Spanish.

I begin by creating a comfortable learning environment, building rapport and establishing a mentoring relationship with the student; I familiarize myself with their style of learning and identify in which subject matter they hope to gain understanding. I then deliver an appropriate lesson plan for the student or group of students to best pass on that understanding along with tools to help the student successfully learn similar subject matter on their own in future lessons.
