About Zhen
I’m Zhen, a friendly and patient person who genuinely enjoys helping others. I’m currently studying at a foundation programme in Manchester, working towards a place at the University of Manchester to study Mechanical Engineering.
Growing up in China and now living in the UK, I’ve experienced firsthand what it’s like to adapt to a completely new language and culture. That experience has made me passionate about helping others on their own language learning journey.
I want to teach because I believe Mandarin Chinese opens doors — to culture, travel, business, and new friendships. I want to make that journey as enjoyable and stress-free as possible for my students, starting from the very basics and building confidence step by step.

Hi! I’m Zhen, a native Mandarin Chinese speaker from China, currently studying at a foundation programme in Manchester, UK.
I offer online Mandarin lessons tailored to complete beginners. Whether you want to learn conversational Chinese, improve your pronunciation, or prepare for HSK exams, I can help you achieve your goals in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Having moved to the UK myself, I know exactly what it’s like to learn a new language from scratch — so I teach with patience, encouragement, and plenty of practice.
