About Fangping
I am Tang, a native Mandarin Chinese speaker and a PhD student at National University of Singapore. I can explain Chinese in English and would like to help both adults and students become more comfortable using the language. My lessons focus on clear explanations, practical examples, and opportunities to practice. I will ask about your learning goals and current level before planning the session, and review school materials in advance when you need support with a course.

I offer Mandarin Chinese lessons for adults who want to communicate in everyday situations and students who need help with Chinese learning. Depending on your goals, we can practise pronunciation and tones, useful vocabulary, everyday conversation, and reading or writing with your learning materials. I can explain concepts in English and use guided examples and practice to help you build confidence. Please share your level, goals and any school materials before booking so I can confirm a suitable lesson. Lessons last 60 minutes and are available online or at the student's home within 10 km of my location in Singapore. The first free 30-minute session includes a learning-needs discussion and a short sample lesson.
