About Yao
Hello! My name is Yao, I am a native Mandarin speaker from China and currently live in Cork, Ireland. I graduated from University College Cork with a Master's degree. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and helping students learn Chinese with confidence. I am friendly, patient and responsible, and I always create a positive and supportive learning environment for every student.

I have experience teaching Mandarin to international children through an online learning platform in China and have also delivered public presentations. I enjoy creating engaging, patient and personalised lessons that help students build confidence in speaking, pronunciation and everyday communication. Lessons are usually 45 minutes long and tailored to each student's age, level and learning goals.
