About Amanda
Hi, I’m Amanda, a native Mandarin speaker from China currently studying Early Childhood Education in New Zealand.
Living and studying in a multicultural environment has allowed me to connect with people from different backgrounds and cultures. I enjoy language learning and believe that learning a new language should be both enjoyable and rewarding.
As an Early Childhood Education student, I value patience, encouragement, and creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.

As a native Mandarin speaker from China currently studying in New Zealand, I can support learners in both English and Chinese. I achieved a PTE Academic score of 83, allowing me to communicate confidently with English-speaking students.
I focus on beginner Chinese, everyday conversation, vocabulary building, pronunciation, and practical language skills that students can use in real-life situations. Whether you are learning Chinese for travel, study, work, or personal interest, lessons will be adapted to your level and pace.
Lessons are primarily taught online and are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults. As an Early Childhood Education student, I enjoy creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable practising and building confidence in Mandarin.
