About Sung
Teaching has always been my passion because I enjoy helping others gain confidence and discover the joy of learning. I believe that every student is unique, and with the right approach, anyone can learn Mandarin in a fun and meaningful way. Seeing my students make progress, no matter how small, is the most rewarding part of being a teacher.

I believe students learn best when they are having fun! My lessons are interactive, engaging, and tailored to each student’s learning style, using storytelling, visual aids, role-play, and real-life conversations to make Mandarin enjoyable and easy to understand.
As a native Mandarin speaker, I studied in Chinese-medium schools from primary to secondary school and graduated with the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC), achieving an A in Mandarin. I also hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Special Education) and have experience teaching children with diverse learning needs using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, but the duration can be adjusted based on the student’s age and learning goals. Every lesson is personalized, whether you’re learning Mandarin for school, exams, travel, work, or daily communication.
I welcome preschoolers, primary and secondary students, adults, beginners, and intermediate learners. I also have experience supporting children with special educational needs and strive to create a patient, encouraging, and supportive learning environment where every student can build confidence and enjoy learning Mandarin.
