About Penny
Hello! I am a native Mandarin speaker from China with clear and standard pronunciation. I hold a Level 2-A Certificate in the Putonghua Proficiency Test, which demonstrates a strong command of standard Mandarin.
I am patient, attentive, and detail-oriented. I understand that pronunciation, tones, and speaking confidence can be challenging for learners, so I explain things clearly and correct mistakes in a gentle and encouraging way.

Each lesson will be adjusted to your level, interests, and learning goals. Topics may include self-introduction, travel, food, shopping, work, and daily life in Singapore or China. I use simple explanations, repetition, role-play, and friendly corrections to help you improve naturally.
I understand that speaking a new language can feel difficult, so my lessons are patient, relaxed, and supportive. You do not need any previous Mandarin knowledge. Simple English explanations can be provided when necessary.
