About Olivia
I have a permanent infatuation with languages - I am always learning at least one! I'm a native speaker of both English and Polish, and I've taught myself French to the point of being able to easily speak with and understand my native French friends. I'm currently learning Spanish and Mandarin (Spanish being the much easier one...)
But teaching myself languages hasn't just shown me what works and what doesn't - it's made me see the languages I already speak in new ways, noticing differences and nuances that I would've overlooked otherwise. One of my favourite hobbies is reading the same books in different languages (English, Polish, French and Spanish) and seeing just how much the tone of the story can change!
I'm dedicated, consistent and love giving attention to detail, but I also perfectly understand the challenges learning a language can bring. I'm determined to share the beauty of the foreign-speaking world with others, in a way that makes them want to come back for more!

If you have the ambition to want to learn Polish, you've already got what it takes to do it!
Polish can seem like a very complex language to learn, but anything can appear complex if it is not broken down into small enough pieces.
As a passionate language-learner myself, I know how important it is to structure your learning in a way that's both digestible and effective. But it's also important to feel like every small step takes you somewhere!
I will give you all the explanations, resources and methods to retain Polish grammar, but I will also always incorporate things that you can master much more quickly - spoken phrases, pronunciation, as well as fun listening and reading suited to your level.
With consistency, clarity and encouragement, I will help you learn the unique language that is Polish - and no matter your level or pace, I will make sure that in every lesson, you feel like you've conquered something!
