About Romina
I am a University student from Mexico. I grew up speaking Spanish at home and learning English at school. I have recently finished my English degree at the University of Bristol and will be beginning my Law master's in September.
I have language teaching experience and have tutored both children and adults in the past.
I was also a Peer Assisted Study Session leader during my time at university, meaning I went through training on how to teach lessons and engage students.
I love teaching and engaging with people, I am very outgoing and love meeting new people!

As a native Spanish speaker, my approach to tutoring is to adapt to each individual's needs. I focus on building confidence and language skills so students feel comfortable using the language rather than just memorising it.
A lesson is usually an hour long but I am happy to adjust length if needed.
I use a mix of techniques depending on the student's age and language level.
For younger learners, I incorporate visuals, games and fun conversations. For older students (such as GCSE and A level) I focus on vocabulary, speaking practice, and exam style exercises.
