About Javier
I am a native Spanish speaker, bilingual in English, with three years' experience as a private tutor for both starters and university-level Spanish students seeking to improve their fluency and their language skills. I strongly believe the best way to learn a language is by needing to speak it. Within my lessons I build a friendly and encouraging atmosphere that makes improving one's skills an enjoyable experience. I prefer to help students towards acquiring new knowledge instead of 'spelling it out' for them.

Javier is an excellent Spanish teacher. Knowledgeable but also pedagogically wise. He was my teacher for one year and he will manage to get me from nothing to B2. After one year of lessons with my dear teacher, I passed my B2 official exam (DELE) although it is quite hard. I really love this guy. I am willing to become a little less busy in the next months and to have lessons with him again. He is such an effective teacher that I know I will become C1 in six months!!!
