About Guillermo
Hi! I’m Guillermo, a native Spanish speaker from Madrid, Spain, currently studying in Sydney as an exchange university student at The University of Sydney (USYD).
I have always enjoyed meeting people from different countries and sharing languages and cultures, which is one of the reasons why I would love to help others learn and improve their Spanish.
Being a native speaker, I can offer not only a strong understanding of the language, but also natural everyday Spanish, expressions and cultural insights that are difficult to learn from textbooks alone.
I’m friendly, patient and easy-going, and I want my students to feel comfortable speaking Spanish without being afraid of making mistakes. Whether you are learning for your studies, traveling, work or simply because you enjoy the language, I’ll be happy to help you progress and make Spanish feel more natural and enjoyable.

My lessons are fully adapted to each student’s level, goals and interests. Whether you are starting from scratch, studying Spanish at school or university, or simply want to become more confident speaking with native speakers, we can focus on what is most useful for you.
I place particular emphasis on conversation and practical Spanish, while also working on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading and writing when needed.
As a native speaker from Spain, I can also help you understand how Spanish is actually used in everyday situations, including natural expressions and cultural context.
My aim is to create relaxed and enjoyable lessons where you feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes and improving at your own pace. Lessons are available both in person in Sydney and online.
