About Nancy
I’m passionate about helping others on their Spanish learning journey, even though I’m not a professional teacher. I have a deep love for animals and have been around them all my life, which has influenced my career path. I also run a cat-sitting business called Gato, which serves seniors in retirement homes in Calgary.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge of the Spanish language and culture in a laid-back, supportive way, where there’s no pressure to be perfect. My goal is to help people feel more confident speaking Spanish in everyday situations through casual conversation.
Aside from that, I’m always looking for ways to connect with people, whether it’s through language learning or caring for animals!

Flexible Topics: We can talk about whatever interests you—whether it's your hobbies, travel, or even just what happened during your day. This makes it more fun and relatable.
Practical Vocabulary: Instead of memorizing lists of words, you’ll pick up useful vocabulary naturally as we talk.
Cultural Exposure: I’ll introduce cultural elements like popular phrases, customs, or common expressions from Spanish-speaking countries.
Supportive Feedback: I’ll offer suggestions and help with pronunciation or phrasing, but my main goal is to help you speak more freely without overthinking.
