About Eduardo
Beyond teaching, I'm a lifelong learner with a passion for the arts, languages, and literature. I studied visual arts in both Cuba and Chicago and continue to work as a visual artist. I enjoy reading history, biographies, and fiction in both Spanish and English, and I believe curiosity is one of the greatest gifts we can encourage in children.
At the moment, I'm writing two books—a biography of the renowned Cuban painter Wifredo Lam in English and a young adult novel in Spanish. I also enjoy learning new languages and am currently beginning my studies in French and Yoruba.
Whether I'm creating art, reading, writing, or exploring a new language, I'm always learning something new. I bring that same enthusiasm, creativity, and curiosity into every lesson, helping students discover that learning can be both meaningful and enjoyable.
