About Marta
I am a native Spanish university student in Scotland. My objective for the future is to become a Language Teacher, specialised in my own mother language, Spanish, and English. I started giving my first lessons at 16, with some of my foreign classmates, helping them improve their abilities to perform better according to the Spanish Educational System. In terms of my titles, I finished secondary school with a Humanities Baccalaureate, literature based, so my subjects were very centred in language learning and its varieties (history, culture...), especially Spanish ones. Furthermore, I am also fluent in French, and I'm currently learning German and Japanese. So I have techniques for language learning and capacity to teach from different perspectives.

I believe that languages are alive and the best way to learn them is using them! My lessons are very dynamic, based mostly on collaboration tasks. The Spanish language can be tricky to learn because it is very diverse and the spoken language is very different to what is learnt in academic classes, so my plan is to base the lessons on conversation practices, live writing assessments and a never-stopping share of information. I can teach from the basic notions to beginners to serve as a conversational partner to advanced speakers! My preferred range of age is from 14 years old in advance, but it's not a closed range!

Perfect! Felt really comfortable and Marta was really good as explaining lesson set up and tailoring to my experience/goals
Perfect! Marta started with wanting to know what I wanted from lessons. Predominately ,the conversation aspect, also help with any grammar questions etc. She is very pleasant and good to work with. I am looking forward to taking my Spanish to the next level. Thanks.
