About Sasha
I am an enthusiastic and engaging Spanish tutor. I grew up in Barcelona, Spain and I've spent most of my life there. I was top of my class in both Spanish and Catalan and got an overall Selectivitat mark of 13.2/14. My mother is English and my Father is Spanish so I am equally fluent in both languages. I am also a Composer so I can work in music teaching as well.

I'm convinced learning a language effectively is about approaching it intuitively. To listen and communicate in the most efficient way, not learning grammar, but to be able to get an idea across. Once that is covered one can move on to learning some basic orthography and extended vocabulary to express yourself in written form.
I believe the most important step in learning a language is to submerge yourself in things that interest you in that language: write about things that interest you, watch a documentary about something in Spanish and then write about what you learned, indulge in the culture, cook up a recipe from a Spanish cook book! Just make it fun! And the learning will follow.
My lessons are usually 1/hour long
I have 3 years of experience both as a Spanish and English tutor. I have taught 32 students in total.
My lessons are for any age and the level goes all the way to Spanish VCE.
