About Kimberly
I'm a Spanish speaker who grew up in the Dominican Republic, and I genuinely enjoy helping people learn Spanish.
I currently teach Spanish to English-speaking students, including missionaries who are preparing to serve in a Spanish-speaking country. I help them develop the Spanish they need to communicate, connect with people, and feel more confident during their time serving others.
I create personalized lessons with clear explanations, conversation practice, exercises, and activities. Because I also understand what it feels like to learn another language, I know that students learn differently. Some people need repetition and conversation, while others learn better with visual examples, writing, or simple grammar explanations.
My goal is to create a comfortable environment where you can make mistakes, ask questions, and gradually become more confident using Spanish.
I'm patient, organized, and happy to work with students who are learning Spanish for travel, everyday communication, missions, personal interest, or simply because they want to speak another language.
