About Nolwenn
Language learning is gradually disappearing in the UK and I believe this phenomenon is induced by the lack of "realism" in classrooms. A language is not all about grammar. It is spoken and lived on a daily basis by millions of individuals. I try to bring French back to life with humour, concrete examples, and cultural facts. I attended the Université Rennes 2 (Brittany, France), as well as the University of Aberdeen (Aberdeenshire, Scotland). I tutored at university level in France, and I gave private lessons at primary school level in the UK. I taught in the UK at secondary level.

I have experience as a tutor and as a language assistant, so I can teach at any level, without age restrictions. I like to emphasise the cultural aspect as much as the language one, as a language cannot be reduced to exam skills. My lessons will be tailored to your needs and based on your wishes and interests. As a language assistant, I used to practise speaking with my students as this skill is rarely developed in the classroom. My lessons are usually 30 to 40 min long, based on people's average concentration span, but this can be adjusted to your needs.
