About Maria Jazmin Nicole

As a native Tagalog speaker from the Philippines, I can help you build confidence in using Tagalog in real conversations, whether you’re starting from scratch, reconnecting with Filipino culture, or simply want to sound less like a textbook and more like a local.
My background in Computer Engineering and professional experience in graphic design have taught me to communicate ideas clearly, stay organized, and pay attention to detail. I bring that same approach to learning: patient, practical, and adapted to how each student learns best.

Learning Tagalog should feel useful from the very first conversation (not like memorizing a textbook). As a native Tagalog speaker, I focus on natural pronunciation, everyday vocabulary, common expressions, and the way Filipinos actually communicate.
We can build each session around situations that matter to you, from introducing yourself and making small talk to ordering food, traveling, or talking with Filipino friends and family. I use simple explanations, examples, repetition, and guided conversations to make new concepts easier to remember and apply.
With a background in Computer Engineering and creative communication, I bring a structured yet flexible approach to learning. I enjoy breaking down ideas into simple, easy-to-understand steps while keeping lessons engaging and relevant to the learner.
