About Osilagun
Hello, I'm Ahmed Osilagun, a passionate native Yoruba tutor from
Ogun State, Nigeria.
I have over 5 years of experience teaching Yoruba language and culture to children and adults, especially those in the diaspora. I am a native speaker and I grew up speaking Yoruba at home, school, and in my community.
I am patient, friendly, and I understand how to make Yoruba easy for beginners. Many of my students are kids born in the US/UK who now confidently greet their grandparents in Yoruba.
I studied at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic having Higher National Diploma (HND) and I am dedicated to helping preserve
our beautiful Yoruba language.

2. Story & Songs: For kids, I use stories, Yoruba songs, and games.
3. Phonetics: I teach correct tones and pronunciation so you sound like a native.
4. Culture: I teach proverbs, respect (iwa) and cultural meaning behind words.
