Hello World!
I have currently been studying Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, a major focused in the design, construction, and continued repair/maintenance/refitting of the seagoing vessels that defend nations, transport our cargo, and provide for global recreation and transportation. Additionally, through military experience, I have had the opportunity to have practical hands-on afloat operational training and experience. This has given me a degree of discipline, work ethic, leadership, and willingness to help you receive the quality academic assistance you desire!
Outside of work and classes, I enjoy boating, fishing, and the outdoors! Hobbies include amateur radio, music and guitar, and physical exercise.

Techniques:
Rather than simply giving solutions or problem-solving strategies to students, I guide them. Challenges during learning is not a bad thing! When guided, these challenges will be addressed before they become a problem and will be used to promote growth and understanding. I consider education like exercise--challenges promotes knowledge as going to the gym promotes physical strength!
Ability is broken into an assessment of the student’s knowledge, skill, and experience. If one of those elements needs improvement, I will work to build it. For example, a lack of knowledge may require conceptual explanations, a lack of skill may require simple examples, and experience may require the student to try more complex problems on their own as I monitor their progress.
Regarding motivation, I will employ motivation strategies if that is identified as an area in need of improvement. After assessing ability and motivation, I will employ necessary actions to promote academic growth!
What Sets Me Apart:
My background in my chosen area of study Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, a double major, has placed a tremendous emphasis on the mathematics and physics. In fact, many of my classmates turn towards me for academic assistance.
Who The Lessons Are For:
These lessons are primarily designed for students in high school, but I am more than willing to assist younger students or those who are in their first few years of college. However, note that I may or may not be able to assist college students depending on their institution and level of mathematics as institutions and majors can vary (for example, our differential equations and linear algebra class was focused on aspects of our major such as ship vibrations). Regardless, if I believe I am able to offer beneficial assistance, I am more than willing!
