About Dayton
I am a recent graduate of the University of Miami with a BA in Theater Arts and a minor in American Sign Language. My love for the performing arts brought me to ASL, where I have been storytelling and interpreting for years. In high school, I interpreted school assemblies and became the interpreter for my co-worker at my church, who was Deaf. Now, I find much fulfillment in helping others with their ASL classes! As an actor myself, I found ASL to be another medium in which I could express myself fully by creating stories. It is a visual art that is fascinating to study. I am constantly working to learn new signs and want students who have the same drive as me. My experience makes me well-equipped to help you ace your ASL classes :)

Dayton is a trustworthy teacher because she is on time for her lessons, she creates engaging learning opportunities and she passionately shares her love of sign language. Working with Dayton is fun. Her energy is contagious. She spends time making sure you understand the lesson by reviewing and making corrections where needed.
