• 1) Do you speak this language fluently because of your origins or because a teacher inspired you to learn?

  I'm a British Native Speaker, born in London with a passion for languages.

• 2) Can you name a living, historical or fictional character that you think is the emblematic representative of the language's culture?

  Winston Churchill, was such an inspiration and I think that for many people he represented British resilience, determination, humour and quick wit.

• 3) Is there a typical word, phrase, tradition or behavior in the language that you particularly like?

• 4) Why does speaking this language matter to you?

  In my opinion, the English language has so much flavour. It is rich, yet complex and has many different layers. Depending on where your English learning journey starts (beginner, intermediate or advanced) there are so many interesting new things to learn.
  
  That's the beauty of the English language!

• 5) What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?

  It depends on the level. For beginners, vocabulary, sentence structure and understanding are usually tricky. At intermediate level, the challenges will be different, learning more complex ways to express ideas and the introduction of phrasal verbs. Advanced learners, go deeper into grammatical forms as well as idiomatic phrases.

• 6) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your language learning or your days at school.

  Never be afraid of making a mistake. That's the best way to learn..

• 7) How has travel or a specific trip helped you to increase your skill and knowledge of the language?

  I've been lucky enough to live in Italy and Asia and have taught many different nationalities and levels. I think it has helped me to adapt lessons and content easily, to suit student needs.

• 8) What makes you a Superprof in language learning?

  My sense of humour! And wanting all my students to succeed. I'll be cheering them on :)
