About Lucy Xiaojia
I am Lucy, a passionate teacher and graduate from the University of Sydney. I enjoy playing sports and my current favorite activity is rock climbing. As a native speaker of Mandarin, I came to Australia 12 years ago and finished my Master of Teaching degree during the pandemic. I enjoy learning languages and different cultures. I wish to pass my enthusiasm for learning to you!

I started tutoring in 2013. My students range from primary school students to university graduates. The guiding pedagogy of my teaching style is Universal Design Learning. I differentiate my classes well by scaffolding students with the right support and helping them to achieve their personal best within the zone of proximal development. The typical length of my lesson is 1.5 hours.
