About Sujean
Hi!! My name is Sujean Doo, and I'm a current sophomore at Scripps College. I am a neuroscience and pre-med major, with a focus in neuropharmacology and behavioral neuroscience.
In college, I currently am apart of the Asian-American Affinity Club, along with playing on the 5c Field Hockey team. I work at Scripps College Academy, where I work with current high school and college students with their college applications and provide mentorship and resources throughout their college experience (such as financial aid workshops, internship/research opportunities, etc).
In high school, I, along with field hockey, also played lacrosse and was a shotputter and discus thrower on track-and-field. I also was a representative on the Students of Color Leadership Network, and was apart of the California Music Merit Program, where I completed all 10 levels of classical piano.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, drawing, music, playing video games, cooking, binging tv shows, and hanging out with friends.
In terms of my experience with children and teaching, I have been working at summer camps since my sophomore year of high school, ranging from day-camps, sports camps, and even a lego engineering camp. I also tutored as a part-time job, mostly in math and english.
