About Ty
I am a neuroscience student at ASU, and I recently transferred from Hofstra University. I have been tutoring 2014, and have worked as a tutor with multiple companies as well as independently. My areas of focus include all courses, but I prioritize Math and Science.

My ideal teaching method begins with discussing the course with the student(s), their confidence in their own knowledge, the goals they want to achieve through tutoring, and their preferred methods of learning. Almost all of my lessons in STEM follow a step-by-step guide with examples for the student. We then work together to complete a few examples until they are comfortable enough to do then perfectly without me! My biggest rule is that as a tutor I must priority the students individual needs to ensure that they are successful.
