About AHNIAH
During my first quarter as a Learning Assistant at UCLA, I found fulfillment in supporting and inspiring struggling students. However, this experience also revealed areas for growth, especially in applying pedagogical techniques. While I have a strong grasp of the course content, I realized effective teaching requires more than subject knowledge. It demands awareness of common student preconceptions and the ability to respond thoughtfully to questions in real time. Recognizing these challenges has motivated me to further develop my teaching skills so I can better meet students’ needs. I am dedicated to serving students as an effective tutor.
