About Avery
Performing as a chamber musician keeps my ears sharp for the piano. Training started with keys and expanded into violin and voice. This multi-instrumental foundation makes theory feel instinctive for my pupils. Many students study piano alongside a second instrument with me.
My method focuses on hand independence and precise pedaling technique. Students often request pop and contemporary arrangements for their specific goals.
I create custom sheet music for any song you choose. Ear training and scales become manageable through consistent practice. These skills build a bridge between technical accuracy and musical expression. I look forward to hearing about the specific pieces you wish to conquer.

Customized arrangements serve as the primary map for our piano study. Music notation is secondary to the actual sound we create in the room. I leverage my 13 years of experience to solve complex memorization techniques.
Classical repertoire provides the skeleton while we add chord voicing for depth. Accompaniment skills are integrated early to develop a sense of rhythm.
